off-ice TRAINING
for figure skaters
Conditioning, dance movement, and harness sessions to build strength, flexibility, and performance quality to enhance on-ice success
Off-ice training is an essential complement to on-ice practice, helping skaters build the strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination needed to perform at their best. By focusing on core stability, balance, and muscle control off the ice, skaters can improve their jumps, spins, and overall technique while reducing the risk of injury.
Incorporating off-ice workouts ensures that every minute on the ice is more effective and productive, supporting faster progress and long-term development. Check out this intro video from Coach Alyona about the importance of proper off-ice training:

Strength & conditioning
In-person strength and conditioning classes designed for figure skaters, focusing on power, endurance, balance, and flexibility to support on-ice performance and injury prevention.
FITNESS group classes are available most days before and/or after on-ice sessions and private lessons can be scheduled.
Jump & Spin Technique
Off-ice jump and spin technique classes focused on rotation mechanics, balance, and position. Skaters build muscle memory, control, and confidence to support consistent execution of advanced elements on the ice.
TECHNIQUE lessons can be scheduled as small group classes or private lessons with any freeskate coach.
Harness & electric spinner
Master jumps and spins off the ice. Focus on body alignment, rotational control, and muscle memory while training balance and spatial awareness. Our harness and electric spinner help skaters transfer clean, confident rotations back onto the ice.
HARNESS/SPINNER lessons can be scheduled as 15 min private lessons with Coach Rhea or Coach Vitaliy.
ballet for figure skaters
Develop grace, posture, and body control through classical ballet training. Strengthen lines, core, and fluidity to elevate spins, spirals, and overall on-ice artistry.
BALLET is offered with Coach Evgeni every Tuesday morning from 7:45-8:45am. Private lessons can also be scheduled on Tuesday mornings.
yoga for figure skaters
Support your body and mind with targeted flexibility, balance, and recovery work. Improve range of motion, core stability, and focus while reducing soreness and preventing injuries for stronger, more confident skating.
YOGA is offered with Coach Kymberlie every Saturday afternoon from 3-3:45pm. Private lessons can also be scheduled.
