At Skate VIDA, community is more than a backdrop. it’s a core part of how skaters learn, grow, and thrive.
Team-oriented training sessions, social engagement, and events with the Heart of Texas Figure Skating Club, help skaters and families connect, support one another, and celebrate progress together.
Skaters at all levels, from beginners to advanced, find a place to belong. Through shared experiences, mutual encouragement, peer feedback, and team events, our community helps every athlete feel supported along their unique journey.
By nurturing both individual talent and team spirit, we empower our skaters to thrive, making their journey in figure skating a rewarding and enjoyable experience. Join us and be part of a vibrant skating community that supports and inspires one another every step of the way!
VIDA Training Community
Community begins on the ice. Skaters train alongside peers who encourage, support, and challenge one another, creating an environment where growth is shared, not isolated.
Our team-oriented approach means skaters benefit not only from individualized coaching, but also from training in a setting where collaboration, encouragement, and mutual respect are part of everyday practice.
VIDA Online Community
Community doesn’t stop when skaters leave the rink. Skate VIDA extends beyond the ice through our online community, where skaters and families share milestones, challenges, and everyday moments from their skating journey.

We love celebrating progress, including the hard days, the falls, the breakthroughs, and everything in between. We proudly share these moments to highlight the real skating journey.
Figure Skating Community (Heart of Texas FSC)
Skate VIDA is proud to be part of the broader figure skating community throughout Texas. We maintain a close relationship with the Heart of Texas Figure Skating Club, supporting opportunities for skaters to participate in club activities, testing, and events that connect them to the wider skating world.
These partnerships help skaters experience the sport beyond their daily training by building confidence, sportsmanship, and a deeper sense of belonging within figure skating.

Heart of texas figure skating club
Heart of Texas Figure Skating Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and the newest figure skating club in Austin officially recognized by U.S. Figure Skating. The club is dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where skaters of all ages and levels can pursue their goals, develop their skills, and reach their fullest potential both on and off the ice.
Serving Austin, Central Texas, and beyond, Heart of Texas FSC is proud to be a supportive home for the local skating community.
