Skate VIDA’s Learn to Ice Skate program introduces new skaters to the fundamentals of ice skating in a supportive, structured environment. Classes are designed for children, teens, and adults who are brand new to the ice or building early foundational skills.


Level 1: Beginner ice skating

Our Beginner Ice Skating Class introduces new skaters to the fundamentals of balance, gliding, and control in a safe, encouraging setting. Perfect for first-time skaters or those looking to build a strong foundation on the ice. Separate classes available for youth, teens, and adults. Every Saturday 5-5:30pm.

Price: $30 with pre-registration, $35 to drop-in.

Level 2: Foundations ice skating

Build your skills from the ground up!

Join our Foundations Ice Skating Classes every Saturday from 3:45–6:00 PM. Designed for beginners and developing skaters, this program includes both an off-ice class to improve strength and prevent injury, and an on-ice class focused on mastering essential skating skills. Perfect for skaters looking to build confidence, coordination, and strong fundamentals — all in a fun, supportive environment!

Price: $60 with pre-registration, $70 to drop-in.

Level 3: intermediate foundations ice skating

Keep progressing with confidence!

Join our Intermediate Foundations Ice Skating Classes every Saturday from 3:45–6 PM. Designed for skaters who have mastered the basics and are ready for more, this program combines one off-ice class for strength and balance training and two on-ice classes focused on improving edge quality, turns, and power. Skaters will begin exploring advanced basic skills and building the control needed for spins and jump preparation.

Price: $75 with pre-registration, $85 to drop-in.

Level 4: advanced Foundations ice skating

Take your skating to the next level!

Our Advanced Foundations Ice Skating Classes run every Saturday from 3:45–6:30 PM and is designed for skaters ready to refine their skills beyond the basics. This program includes one off-ice class to build strength and balance, plus three on-ice sessions focused on edges, turns, and control. Skaters will also begin learning basic spin positions and prepare for their first single jumps — the perfect next step toward confident, powerful skating!

Price: $90 with pre-registration, $100 to drop-in.
