Sarah Smith began skating at age seven and quickly fell in love with the sport. After her rink and club closed due to financial difficulties, she stepped away from skating for a time. She found her way back to the ice in 2015 when her daughter, Kaydence, wanted to learn to skate—and the rest is history!

Sarah loves working with skaters of all ages and abilities and is passionate about helping each student build confidence, develop their skills, and achieve their goals. Her background in music education brings a unique perspective to her coaching, combining her love of skating and music in a way that has taken her around the world as both a skater and performer.

Sarah is a Triple Gold Medalist in Adult Gold Skating Skills, Adult Singles, and Adult Gold Pairs. She has also competed in Intermediate Singles, Pre-Gold Skating Skills, and Silver/Novice Pairs, and brings more than 20 years of teaching and coaching experience to the ice.
