Rebecca Rosselli
Foundations, CHOREOGRAPHY
Rebecca Rosselli is a USFS-certified coach and a working competitor who coaches from the inside of the sport. She holds gold in Moves in the Field, Interpretive, and Ice Dance, with seven years of coaching experience that began in Canada. A Bachelor of Fine Arts, a background as a voice director and storyboard artist in animation, and a current life as a stand-up comedian and figure skating costume designer have taught her how to build a performance from the first impression to the final pose.
Rebecca believes skating is a sport and an art form. Her lessons pair sharp technical instruction with the artistry that makes a skater unforgettable: musicality, storytelling, presence, and a look that completes the world the skater is creating. She doesn’t fit skaters into a mold. She finds what makes each one singular and helps it shine.
Rebecca’s philosophy is simple: bite off a little more than you can chew, then learn to chew it one step at a time. She helps skaters, and the humans inside them, see challenge as part of the adventure of life, not something to dread or avoid. Her skaters learn to take chances, dance in the rain instead of waiting out the storm, and measure their worth by who they are becoming: someone who does hard things and is willing to fail. Her signature response to a fall? “Congratulations on your failure. Most people never even try.”
She is a guide, not a drill sergeant. She protects skaters’ independence and joy, because the real win is confidence that lasts long after the program ends. Rebecca also has proven methods for stepping onto the ice calm and confident, so performance nerves become something skaters can manage instead of fear.
