EMILY HAO

Foundations

Emily Hao is a highly accomplished figure skater with over 13 years of competitive experience. She has achieved USFS Gold Medalist status in both Singles and Skating Skills, as well as a Pre-Gold level in Solo Pattern Dance. Her skating journey includes numerous national-level competitions, including the U.S. Figure Skating Championship Series, and a long track record of top placements in collegiate competitions across the country. As President of the Texas A&M University Figure Skating Club, she led the organization of the first-ever intercollegiate figure skating competition in Texas, demonstrating her commitment to growing the sport at both the competitive and grassroots levels.

In addition to her achievements on the ice, Emily is a dedicated coach and mentor. She began coaching in 2019 and currently serves as a senior coach at Spirit Ice Arena in College Station, Texas, where she works with skaters of all ages and levels through private lessons, Learn to Skate, Aspire programs, and summer clinics. Emily is passionate about both the technical and artistic sides of skating and is committed to fostering confidence, discipline, and creativity in her students. Through her leadership, coaching, and competitive experience, she aims to inspire the next generation of skaters and contribute to the continued growth of figure skating in Texas and beyond.
